Colonización de Brasil.

En un grupo de cuatro personas, creamos esta presentación hablando sobre dicha colonización. Dentro de esta, estan los temas más importantes o lo que ocurrió mientras los colones portugueses se adentraban a este territorio.

TP de Historia

En grupos de cuatro debimos realizar un trabajo práctico explicando (Como si fuéramos Señores de aquella época) como vivíamos, nuestras constumbres, escudos, etc. Les contamos en dónde y en cuál región vivíamos. También, creamos una cuadro mostrando las causas y consecuencias en el siglo XIV y XV.

In the E.M  class we made a presentation due to differents hazards. We choose the one of Indonesia´s Earthquake on 2004. Here you will see the most important information and what happened to the population and land after the powerful earthquake.

Diario de Lectura: "La Entevista"

Nos basamos en el libro "La Entrevista", escrito por Liliana Bodoc, para escribir este Diario de Lectura y relatarles brevemente aquella historia que leímos.

Esta historia hace énfasis en los distintos problemas familiares de cada personaje y de como es que se las arreglan para completar el trabajo que se les fue asignado en grupo en contra de su voluntad. Cada uno de ellos tienen diversas personalidades que los hacen diferentes entre si. Gracias a este trabajo de Literatura, estos cuatro chicos fueron agrupados formando, en su opinión, el peor de los grupos. Su objetivo es lograr entrevistar a una persona con una cualidad especial que les resultase interesante y luego de proponer bastantes ideas, decidieron hacerlo con un viejo y ya olvidado actor argentino para terminar de una vez su trabajo.

La autora argentina formula los diálogos de los personajes de una manera similar al lenguaje del lugar en donde viven, es decir, en el ambiente de la historia (Argentina) En los primeros capítulos se muestra que cada chico tiene cierta distancia ente si. Valla a ser por un rencor interno o simplemente porque no se habían hablado antes.  Para mi, aunque los problemas familiares que ellos tenga no se arregle en concreto, los cuatro crearan una fuerte amistad que los ayudara a atravesar aquellos problemas tanto familiares como amistosos.

Nutriendo la Cultura

En dúos o tríos, nos arreglamos para crear una presentación que relatase o explique nuestro proyecto en la materia "Construcción de Ciudadanía" que logramos llevar a cabo este año.

"The Phoenix"- Diary Entry.

"The Phoenix" was written by Sylvia Townsend Warner in 1940, England. In my opinion, the theme and topic are pretty creative, since the beginning until the end. Each character has his magic touch. 

The plot of the book focuses on the Phoenix. It starts when Lord Strwberry, a nobleman, wants the unique bird "Phoenix" in his aviary. He makes a trip to Arabia, the bird habitat, to fetch the bird. All the trouble starts, mainly for the bird, when Lord Strawberry dies and the aviary becomes the responsibility of Mr. Poldero. The story is a representation of how the nature, represented by the bird, is about to disappear because of the abundant prescence of the men who destroy all of it without thinking the consequences. Moreover, the story goes around money. 

"The Phoenix" is an interesting book and  surely the readers would not expect the end of it. The end is in favour of the bird after all the abuse that Poldero made to him. It is a recommended book if you want to have an interesting and relaxing day by reading the story. For me, is one of the greates short stories I ever read for school. 

USA during the 30´s

During the 30´s, the economic changes were most powerful than the social and political. There were many business failures, a era called "The Depression" that attacked mostly the rural areas.

USA during the 20´s

We made a "Thinglink" representing what happened social, political and economical to the USA through 1920. There were many social changes, specially in the urban areas. If you see the image below, you will found those changes. 

Germany´s Challenges

We have to made a presentation telling about the different challenges Germany had to pass through after the WWI. There were 4, Politc, Economic, Social and the Impacts of the War. We made it in a "Prezi".

Cuidado a quien agredes

Dos libros diferentes con dos autores diferentes pero con un tema en común. "El Tonel de amontillado" escrito por Edgar Allan Poe y "La Lengua" por Horacio Quiroga presentan la locura y venganza como tema principal. 

Ambos narradores son  victimas de agresores (amigos suyos) tras ser insultados o de inventar historias falsas acerca de ellos. También son aquellos  que cometen el crimen con la intención de vengarse por lo sucedido, sin importar el daño que podrían causarles a sus agresores ahora convertidas en futuras victimas. El primer paso de su plan es engañarlos para atraerlos hacia su muerte. Por ejemplo, en "La Lengua", el narrador lo atrae a su consultorio con la excusa que tenía un raigón en su boca, mientras que en el de Edgar Poe lo atrae con su obsesión favorita, el vino. 

Mientras que en "La Lengua" la historia cobra vida en el consultorio de un dentista, el otro lo hace en las catacumbas de su Palacio, durante un carnaval. Las intenciones de ambos vengadores son diferentes entre sí, pero al final, terminan siendo exactamente iguales. El propósito del dentista no era matar a su amigo, sino cortarle la lengua el cual fue la razón de las mentiras acerca de él. Mientras que Montresor, cegado por la venganza, termina logrando su objetivo. Matar a Fortunato. 

Aunque estos dos son escritores profesionales de la locura, hay quienes piensas que la historia de Horacio Quiroga es más fácil de comprender y que más representa el tema inicial, la locura. Hay otros que piensan que el de Edgar, al ser más complejo, te puede atraer e intrigar más. Sin embargo, no se puede dudar que ambos libros son excelentes. 

Conociendo más acerca de los sólidos platónicos

En la clase de matemática estuvimos buscando información sobre los cuerpos geométricos, principalmente sobre los sólidos platónicos.  Es por eso que cada uno se dividió en un grupo de 6 chicos para crear una presentación con parte de la bibliográfica de Platón y definiciones de los sólidos platónicos decorado con imágenes.

En una de nuestras clases de biologia, visitamos el Laboratorio que, junto a los vegetales y frutas que trajimos (Banana-Cebolla-Papa) observamos cada una de sus características en el microscopio. Luego, nos ordenaron crear un "Thinglink" poniendo en el todo lo que observamos.

Earthquake hits Nepal and India

After working on articles dealing with the catastrphic earthquake that took place in India and Nepal, we were assigned the creation, in groups, of a summary.

"The article published on September 23rd of 2011 talks about a strong earthquake that took place in India and Nepal with a preliminary magnitude of 6.9 . After the first tremor, the Indian seismology offical assessed that more aftershocks would probably hit the region.

   The earthquake caused the falling of many building followed by the interuption of light power, leaving a huge area of the country in darkness. The most relevant damage was the lose of around 15 lives and dozens of people hurt in Nepal.

   The prime minister of India, Manmohan Singh, said he'd sent troops to help. The National disaster management Authority organized an emergency meeting and the rescue efforts were supported by the air force".

Summary: "Calcuto Volcanoe"

The article published in April 2015, enables us to know that the Calbuco volcano in southern Chile has erupted twice in a few hours, leaving a huge amount of ash and lava on the air. A red alert has sounded, and an emergency director for the region reported that the volcano had not been under any special form of observation, even though it's one of the most active in Chile, its explosion wasn't expected as it has been dormant for years. People living near  the region affected had been evacuated, as well as Bariloche inhabitants in Argentina. Also school areas and flights had been cancelled. Nearby residents talk about being extremely frightened and of seeing the ashes from far miles away. Although Chile has moré than 500 powerful volcanoes, rumours about haven't seen this never before are growing through residents. Interiors minister asked  people affected to "remain calm and stay informed".

Summary: "Ring of fire"

The Pacific Ring of Fire it´s a famous area because of the hundreds of volcanoes located there, both active and inactive. This place stretches from South America and North America to East Asia, New Zealand and Australia. There are about 400 volcanoes situated there, both the most active and most dangerous, as the Mt. Fuji in Japan and Mt. Saint Helen in North America. Of course, this place isn't like it was before, it changed, due to plate tectonics movements, which have caused devastating earthquakes. All this discloses that is not safe to live in or near The Ring of Fire, because you don’t have only to monitor only active volcanoes, but also, inactive ones.
